香港「博物館高峰論壇2023」

Dear friends,

We are delighted to announce that Museum Summit will come back in 2023 and will take place on 24 and 25 March during the period of Art Basel in Hong Kong. Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the HKSAR Government (LCSD), Museum Summit 2023, the 3rd edition of the event, will be organised in partnership with the Gallerie degli Uffizi, Italy.

Pivoting on the theme of “Between”, the Summit 2023 would explore topics on cultural exchanges between places; the reinvention of old and new cultural facilities; the connection between museums and their communities; and the online and offline integration made possible by new technologies. We are honoured to have some 30 celebrated speakers and moderators from Hong Kong and around the world joining us and sharing their insights and experiences.

Apart from the Museum Summit, participants would have opportunities to join other cultural events taking place around the same time. While the Art Basel in Hong Kong will take place on 21 to 25 March, participants could also visit the newly opened Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+, along with the LCSD museums and exhibitions of other key cultural institutions. The Summit programme will include visits to these important venues. More information about the rich array of spectacular exhibitions and programmes will be updated in the Summit webpage nearer the time.

以「無間」為主題，高峰論壇2023內容將探討不同的課題，包括國際間的文化交流、新舊文化設施的再創造、博物館與社區的聯繫，以及科技發展帶來線上線下空間整合的新可能。我們很榮幸邀請到約30位來自香港及世界各地的著名講者和主持人前來分享他們的卓見和經驗。
